Bernie Sanders (I-VT), who is running for the Democratic Party’s nomination for president, appeared at a rally of over 1,000 striking workers and students outside the campus of the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) on Wednesday afternoon in a show of solidarity and a pitch for labor support.
