Two Keys, Forty-Eight Hours: Who Controls Ethicoin
Ethicoin splits control between two keys on separate hardware and makes every change wait 48 hours — long enough for anyone to see it coming.
The first question to ask of any token is what its operators could do if they wanted to. Ethicoin (ETHIC+) answers it in code.
Owner and Guardian
Control of the contract is split between two keys, an Owner and a Guardian, kept on separate devices. The Guardian exists for one job: to stop things in an emergency.
The waiting room
Administrative changes go through a 48-hour timelock, so holders and observers can see them before they take effect. Single transfers are capped at 1,000,000,000 ETHIC+ — 0.1% of supply.
What the keys cannot do
No key can create new tokens: the contract has no mint function. That limit is not a promise; it is the absence of the code.
Disclosure: Renomex and Ethicoin belong to the same network as IFRIT LEAKS. This dossier is based on what the projects publish and what anyone can check on the chain.
